Camp Scholarships

The TOPP Foundation Camp Scholarship Program is dedicated to enhancing the lives of young people with type 1 diabetes (T1D). We provide financial assistance so children and teens can attend specialized diabetes summer camps like Camp Freedom in Schwenksville, PA, and Camp Nejeda in Newton, NJ.

Kids and teens with T1D often miss out on overnight camps because of the round-the-clock care they need. But at these specialized camps, they get the medical attention they require and have the incredible chance to meet and bond with other kids who share their condition. For many, it’s a life-changing experience that shows them they’re not alone.

Parents, we know how hard it can be to leave your child in someone else’s care. That’s why these camps are staffed with experts available 24/7, giving you peace of mind and a much-needed break from diabetes-related worries.

In 2024, we proudly awarded ten camp scholarships—five to campers attending Camp Freedom and five to those heading to Camp Nejeda. Since 2018, we’ve awarded 31 scholarships, helping children and teens with T1D have opportunities to connect and grow.
